Petrus Van Schendel - Market Place by Candlelight

Dim lights, hushed voices, dusky stalls clouded with incense and silk curtains. The largest and most interesting store in the Black Moon Ruins can be found next door to the Lantern-Post Inn; the single wooden sign above the door titles it as "The Cloakroom - Used Goods and More." Madman Hiram is the store's aged proprietor, though he can only be found behind the counter during the night. During the sunlit hours, his assistant Aziz tends to the stock.

Customers entering the cramped store are greeted by a long counter, behind which all manners of strange gear can be seen - all of it dredged up from the Cistern and sold for a quick silver. Hiram will buy almost anything, though his prices are rarely fair; there's rarely any competition in the Ruins. Strangely enough, his limited supply of goods are rather inexpensive.

Hiram's dingy offerings rotate on a daily basis, though if a customer asks for a specific item there is a 50% chance it can be found in the basement storage. Both he and Aziz will only look for a single item per customer each night. They remain tight-lipped about the reason for this restriction.
